There's something magical about girls who are joyful and loving. Something about them can melt the hardened heart and give life to the dieing soul.
And it's not always where we're looking for it. I've watched some of the girls that God has placed in my life praise God on the soccer field and during Sunday service; around a bonfire and in Sunday school. Their praises are small but powerful. It's in their eyes when they willing help their neighbor, in their giggle as they take in the beauty around them and add their own, in their fingers as
they wrap their arms around you and look up at you with eyes about to
burst.
That is what praise looks like. Sometimes it's in song, but so often praise isn't in song, it doesn't rhyme, there is no rhythm to it. Praise, as the young girls I've been blessed to know have taught me, praise is fully enjoying God and unwittingly letting that enjoyment overflow to others. It's not fancy, it's not decorative - it's wonderful.
So take some time and get to know a young girl with a heart for God; watch her and learn from God's revelation of His beauty.
